Is Eagle Mountain Lake Good for Fishing?

Eagle Mountain Lake is well known for its excellent fishing. The lake itself is located in Tarrant County, Texas and covers an area of over 20,000 acres. It is a large reservoir that was created in 1925 when the Texas & Pacific Railway dammed the Trinity River.

The lake also offers a variety of other recreational activities including swimming, skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and sailing. There are several campgrounds located around the lake where visitors can stay overnight or even longer.
